March Updates

Hello Parents!

This Friday, March 26th is the end of the 3rd quarter grading period and is also an early dismissal day. Students will get out of school at 2:15 p.m. this Friday.

Next Tuesday, March 30th is our Report Card Fair at Denver from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. You may pick up your child's report card in the gym and then you are welcome to stop by the classroom to talk with me if you would like. We will not be scheduling specific conference times during the Report Card Fair. If you do not come to the Report Card Fair, I will send your child's report card home with them on Wednesday, March 31st.

Next Wednesday, March 31st is our third quarter Academic Achievement Assembly at 2:15 in the gym.

Please remember that school is out for Spring Break from Friday April 2 (no school on Friday, April 2) until Sunday, April 11. School resumes on MONDAY, APRIL 12.

Our classroom pencil supply is still very low and we are down to our last bottle of hand sanitizer so any contribution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you to all of the parents that have sent in spiral notebooks, eraser tops, pencils, Skittles and other supplies for our classroom over the past few weeks. It was much needed and greatly appreciated!

Mrs. Caparso stopped by the classroom with her baby for a visit yesterday afternoon. The children were so excited to meet baby Brogan and to spend some time with Mrs. Caparso. We have had a great 3rd quarter together and I am looking forward to an exciting 4th quarter with your child!

Be sure to check out the links on the right side of the blog. In April we will begin studying other countries from all of the continents. Your child will be doing a research project on a specific country in May.
