About This Blog:

This blog was created as a resource for the students in my classroom. We will begin studying other countries in April. Then in May, the students will have to choose one country for a research project. The links to the right of the blog will enable the students to get a good overview of the countries that they will be able to choose from for their project. Students will be able to blog with each other as they learn new information about the various countries. My hope is that the students will learn as much from each other as they do from me. I would like this to be a collaborative learning project for the students.

I have created a parent page on my blog to inform parents about things that are happening in the classroom. Parents can post questions or comments on the parent page of the blog. I would like to leave the home page open for the students to blog with each other.

I am excited to see how this blog progresses and how the students respond to the blog and to this learning project.
